Frustration! π
Does take some time adjusting no shortcuts but stressing puts another log on the fire.
WOW! She is so adorable!
I am so genuinely sorry to read of your frustration with Fibro, and I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to these issues. If things get too much for you I would suggest discussing how you are feeling with your doctor or Medical Specialist as they may be able to give you something different that could help you? I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
I used to be an outdoors type all the time and had hoped to teach my son camping, climbing, canoeing like I have with many other kids. But not to be. So such is life I will and do find other past times with him. But the simplicity of it he just wants my time and attention. I don't have to be action man that's in my head!
Just have to find other things you can do and acceptance of how things are that's a biggie which I never have got quite right and revisit it again, never the easy way when your stubborn and thick headed! But we're going to pictures if I can sit still long enough! Lol,
Physics can give you plenty of exercises to stop joints seizing up and muscle pain. My muscles have turned to flab but I don't have the level of energy to deal with that, somethings just have to accept.

Stretching exercise doesn't use much energy and makes you feel good. Its also very very important for your body so you can hold o to flexibility and muscle tone.
Ask a physio or go online for suggestions.
I stretch at least once a day and without it my body would feel much worse.

I have read a lot, tried different things, go from low to high most of all refuse to lose this battle. I have found a healthy diet, relaxation, easy exercise have helped but afraid to say its not easy, good luck buddymac

My consultants have said to pace myself & readjust my life style
That is a learning curve in itself and has to be practised.
However we are all here for you
Hugs for you & all
I feel your frustration; It's like a bereavement, I am in mourning for my previously active life too.
Me too,was always active, it does get you down sometimes, and frustrates you.
Wish you well take care.
You too and thank you! π
All agreed. Keep moving as long as you can. It may seem counter intuitive, but it does help in the long run
Hello Sugar Hiccup,,,,any condition will bring the person to a halt and getting to grips with the way it is changing your life takes a lot of acceptance,,,, then taking your time to start getting into the swing of things again,,,but at a slower pace.
Don't try and force your body to do things,,it won't let you,,and it just makes the condition and you feel so much worse,,and more upset,,,,acceptance is a slow process,,
Hiccups will subside,,take your time and you will come out of the newness of life at a slower pace,,,,it hurts you to not be able to do things you once did,,and it will drive you crazy at not achieving what you want,,but you will get there in the end,,,,patience and acceptance of the new way of things,,,,ttfn from Karen.
Thank you... I know I need to listen to my body, it's really difficult and all my friends tell me I need to chill. I have 4 children one is autistic and quite demanding... 3 dogs and a full time job, I also do photography.....
I do yoga and this seems to help, on good days I will do more, not sure if I should still be taking it slowly on good days? π€
