Know the feeling it's not nice .the tablets help and also don't keep your feet down if you can put them up

I'm N my second day of tablets and no relief yet got to get some more tomorrow after my test

My feet and legs have been fluid filled for 2 or 3 years. There is nothing showing in any of the tests and i cant take water tablets due to a kidney problem.

So i just a have to live with it.

Well there are worse things. :)

I hope so too. It would be great to wear propper shoes. but have to make do with what fits that day.

Good luck to you. :)

I am so genuinely sorry to read this and see how swollen they look in your photo. Mine are swollen at the moment and I have recently had some blood tests undertaken as they will not go down this time. I am on 10mg of Prednislone daily and they think it might be related as it is one of the side effects.

I want to gneuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck with this.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

My hubby gets swollen legs fortunately for him I'm trained in massage therapy. A lymphatic drainage massage followed by 3 or 4 ten minute walks at his quickest pace sees it all disappear by the following day. The lymphatic system is responsible for draining impurities from the blood stream but unlike the blood stream which has the heart to pump it round the lymphatic system relies on movement to circulate. So swimming, walking and other arobic exercise are what's needed. I bought a vibro plate because I have arthritic knees etc and it helps a lot. But hubby doesn't like it. I think he just enjoys the massage lol

Hello Tracey1972, Have you tried propping up the foot end of your bed,,?? and having a pillow under your legs in bed,,? I do both of these and it helps my swollen feet and legs, when they start off,,,,have some potassium rich bananas while on the water tablets,,,

hope things get better for you,,,,,ttfn from Karen.
