Oh melissa, I'm so so pleased you went to your GP and have managed to get the help you so much needed. Fibro has the finest way of reducing us, especially if we think we've got everything sorted, it creeps up and nabs you as if to say "so you thought you'd get rid of me that easily, but no, no, no, you won't !!"
Sadly yes, depression and anxiety are so closely interwoven with fibro, but I thin your idea of taking it each day at a time is a must for all of us, something we tend to forget and that's when flares kick in. I have to thank you 😃 for reminding me of that fact, as I often over do things, no pacing and bang.....off we go again !!
Lots of positive vibes are winging their way to you 😊😊
Sadly so many of us get caught out by getting things going well by doing the pacing, thinking everything is fine so back to usual habits only to have fibro kick us hard where it hurts, which is usually everywhere and reminds us that it, not we has the upper hand if we don't stick to the pacing. I'm bring very good today, but that is partially down to the fact it's so vile outside I don't want to go out. I had a physio session yesterday which has made everything react today, so it's been a duvet morning now lapsing into a duvet afternoon 😉😉
Don't be too hard on yourself is what I'm trying to say, as most of us do exactly the same as you at some time 😕😀😀
I am so genuinely delighted that you went to see your doctor, and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck with your new medication, fingers crossed for some good sleep!
