Hi Beardnick

Firstly, welcome to the site.

Have you got anyone who could be with you on Wednesday to give you a bit of moral support and be a witness to what is done and said.

Remember it is all about what you can't do and not what you can. Just because you can actually carry out a task it does not mean you can do it without difficulty we tend to get used to living with our condition and therefore have adjusted over a period of time. We therefore tend to underestimate the time a task takes and what it takes out of us, e.g. pain, brethlessness and extreme tiredness.

Just jot down some of the everyday things like bathing, trying to prepare a meal, walking etc and the difficulties you have and the time it takes before Wed as it is easy when you are nervous to forget these things.

Have a look at our mother site Fibromyalgia Action UK which you can click on at the top of the page and have a look at all the symptoms and mentally tick the ones that you recognise.

That they are doing a home visit is good which means they are taking your claim seriously. Good luck and please let us know how you get on.x
