Unwanted shower.

Well I don't know what to say only I think I was mistaken for a flower.

My husband was watering the garden and out grandchildern just called And on the spur of the moment thought he would give them a laugh, at my expense.

I was sat just thinking time to go in when this almighty shower of water came over me

My husband decided I needed a shower, boy was it cold.

I told him I will never forget that one and I owe him big time.

The kids just fell about laughing ,it was funny but cold. You think at over 60 he,d get passed doing things like that think the sun had gone to his head.

It did cheer me up though and woke me up.

With that I say good night.

Maybe hubby thought you looked like a beautiful flower and mistook you when watering!

My grandad decided at the age of about 60 to ask me to help him get something from the other side of the garden pond ,by the water fall it was a hot sunny Sunday afternoon and there I was tiny skinny and light balanced on a plank of wood half way across the pond the plank suddenly started to shake ,and I ended up in the pond up to my neck in fish poo . You would think men of a certain age would would grow old gracefully and that the story had ended there but he forgot he trained me well , know once I got over the shock and the whole family that were in on it cameras at the ready etc , I was halled out and incredible indigent , I went off for a bath ,and wallowed for about an hour planning my revenge , grandad had been watering the garden in the meantime and there it was the hose and there was a gap at the back of his trousers inbetween the back braises have a gap ,and he was bending over weeding or something so you guessed it the hose went down the back of the trousers the tap was turned on two turns ,I shot up the ladder that my dad had been up (3storey town house ) fixing the chimney pot as the crows had been nesting and had to be removed and I was sat at the top of the ladder watching the mayhem as my grandad suddenly felt the cold water hit his privates etc and his legs and initially couldn't work out what was going on ,he wasn't to impressed but was sat watching giggling away as I am now thinking about it it took me half an hour to come down , it's always makes me giggle I must admit I love jokes when water is involved ,and I might even know be a bit naughty with a water pistol ,and yes I still have one . But thank you for reminding me of a lovely memory ,I hope you plan your revenge well and make sure the grandchildren are involved so you teach them to play in a lovely old fashioned way and make lovely memory's. For them ,I loved being with my grandparents day trips out and days on beaches kite flying or rock pool fishing ,lovely times.

Shadow, I hope you didn't think I was picking on you, though we can all have this said of us good day or bad. You should see how often I google word spellings; how many times I reread my posts to be sure things make sense . . .

No I thought it was funny you made me smile as I have just had words with my daughter ,and was thinking about someone who is no longer in my life and feeling sad , popped on here and really did start chuckling to my self ,don't worry honestly no offence has been taken ,I am always surprise how I manage to post 😀as I have said before I pop full stops in where I feel they might go and I use a stylis as fingers don't type ,and I hit the wrong keys and don't notice, so I am always rereading and re edditing bits and I still miss things as I can't always see the mistakes as I re read bits and I see words that arnt there took about wishful rereading 😱

Don't worry honestly life's to short and I have a legit excuse ,I have just had about 8 goes at spelling legitxxxxx

And still can't get it right 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

As it was hot here over weekend my daughter decided to bring kids out back to play! Water hose +3 boys+ 1 months=1 mammy getting very soaked. Of course mammy had her revenge and turned the table so to speak! Ha ha take that 3 against 1 and mammy comes out the winner!!!yea 😄😄😄😄😂😂😂😂

Can't say much, I remember a water cannon fight with my next door neighbour and his wife. My husband and I ducking and diving and firing our water cannons from various windows. It was a lot of fun on a really hot day and every single one of us was over the age of 40 You are never to old to have fun you may not be able to run, duck and dive but a hose has a long reach
