Carpal Tunnel Success

Follow up post to one I made last year - I finally had surgery on my right hand on the 30th July. What a relief already !! Ok so the week after the op was pretty grim, pain wise, but the symptoms of the carpal tunnel syndrome have completely gone ! My wound is healing well, stitches came out on the 12th Aug. My consultant did say the post op healing process can take several months and I do have an extremely tender hand but if the symptoms have gone for good it's worth every single minute of pain and discomfort just now.

I have it all to look forward to again with my other hand in the New Year Oh Joy !! lol

I had both hands done 4 months apart and it has been so worth it. They used dissolvable stitches on mine so I didn't need to go back until my check up

Just remember that your wound will heal quicker than the inside will so don't do any heavy lifting for at least six months. My scars have healed so well you hardly even see them
