I find I get this more when I am really fatigued or stressed as I think it has a knock on effect on the nervous system. Of course some meds can have strange effects.x
I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are experiencing this issue also, and it may be beneficial to discuss this with your GP or Medical Specialist as it could be Fibro related (and it helps to keep them up to date and informed) or it could be a completely different medical condition.
I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck with finding the answers that you are looking for with this issue.
I too get these shakes, sometimes it feels like I am walking on top of an earthquake, and my head seems to wobble. Tiredness and stress def seem to make it worse.
Recently I was referred to a neurologist to rule out Parkinsons or MS, which he couldn't find any evidence of thank goodness. But as soon as he knew I'd been diagnosed with Fibro, he said that I was 'of a nervous disposition and the shaking feeling was part of my anxiety due to the Fibro and therefore just something I'd have to put up with.'
Not very helpful really, and I'm sorry that I can't be more helpful to you, but I do find that meditating helps me to relax and then the shaking subsides then goes until the next time. I did try stopping all meds but the only difference was that I was in more pain!!
Thanks for responding Loeshe, that did cross my mind about MS but I don't want to go down that road if I can help it. It's a shame your Dr wasn't more respectful regarding this, it sounded as though he was patronising you in a way.
I am not a nervous person by nature and wouldn't accept that kind of reaction from any Dr. I have an appointment on Mon so will let you know what happens.πΈπ
good luck with your appointment on Mon, I hope you get more helpful results than I did. I have complained about this consultant through the PALS system and am going to be referred to see another consultant at a different hospital at some point.
Thankyou, I just wanted him to realise how he'd come across to me.
Let me know how you get on with yours on Monday.
Best wishes
I have had what I can only describe as inner shaking for the last 2 days. I have not had this before and it isnt all the time it comes and goes. It feels like it is in my stomach and also my arms and legs and feels really weird. Not sure it is the meds. Gentle hugs Joolz.x

It is scary isnt it. It doesnt seem to have a reason to start either (not after exersion or stress). I get it in my hands as well. I cant think straight at the mo I have so much pain everywhere that when I am asked where the pain is worse I just say it is easier to say where it doesnt hurt. Gentle hugs Joolz.x
Thank you for your response I appreciate the fact that you did this while you are suffering so much pain. Please take it easy for now, I sincerely hope you get some relief from your pain.
