Hello Trace
It could be Fibromyalgia. I get the shakes really badly from time to time.
It could also be a side effect to medication you are on.
For me it's quite normal but If it is worrying you, perhaps a trip to your GP might be best?

not my hands but my legs. However, I am wondering if this is all a progression of symptoms. I will be posting that as a question today
I would get your sugar levels tested, free at many chemists or at the Drs. I get it in my legs and is Restless Leg Syndrome. But I am diabetic and when it's my hands, for me, it means low sugars.

Hi Patrick had my sugar levels done for tests last month they were ok,think it might be my meds I to get it in my legs.

Hi Trace,
For my legs I take a 5mg Diazipam tablet twice a day and it cuts 90% of it out. Just the occasional flicker or spasm. Look up Restless Leg Syndrome. This also helps relax my shoulder muscles as they are knotted tight from neck problem which I am waiting for a pain clinic. The down size is they are addictive but stopping the wobbles, shakes and spasms outweighs this for me.

Hi Trace, I get the shaky hands usually when I get hungry so I guess that is when the blood sugar is low. Sometimes I am shaky when I get up but usually settles once I have had breakfast. Sometimes I just get shaky because I have done too much. That is definitely a fibro thing. Gentle hugs, Steph.

I am genuinely sorry to read that you have experienced this, and I sincerely hope that you can find the answers that you are looking for. As with any new symptoms or persistent symptoms it is always advisable to get it checked out by your GP just to get other conditions ruled out of the equation.
I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi Trace, I only get shakes when my blood sugar is low or I am very tired. I'm not diabetic but do have Hypoglycemia where my blood sugar drops, usually if I haven't eaten properly either that day or the day before. A meal usually sorts me out, but I agree, a chat with the doctor would be best. Hugs Linda x
