Thank you for replying hope your appointment goes well and you find out what it is .

OMG I thought it was just me.

I have this sort of sensation almost every day and not just confined to hands/arms. Also experienced this in my legs too.

Often refer to this as my "jelly" legs and arms. It tends to feel like I have no strength or stamina to get anything done and can last just a short time or continue for most of the day.

There's no rhyme or reason for it, no trigger. It just happens!

Suppose I should mention it to the doctor but I'm not sure she really takes it in from the couple of times I've seen her so far. New doctor syndrome - I was diagnosed by my old GP in the Midlands but I've been living on the Lancashire coast for approx 12 months now!

Here's hoping you feel a little more comfortable soon

Thanks for replying I was a little worried that it might be Parkinson’s but it seems like it’s just another symptom of fibro the gift that just keeps giving 😂.

Internal tremor, I have it often, it feels like I've either swallowed a vibrating phone or I'm sitting on it. Not so much shaking hands but muscle twitches particularly in the thumbs. Fibro the condition that just keeps giving.

Hi. Yes I have tremors in my both hands which is a new symptom for me. This started about a month ago. I shake alot and my arms are both very weak and painful as well .I also noticed as well my body shakes internally. I have noticed this when I am lying down which again is a new symptom for me .

I don’t have any problems with my hands and arms, but I do get very weak and wobbly legs, sometimes so badly that I find it a real effort to just walk upstairs.

The problem I understand with fibromyalgia is that as it affects the nerve endings the symptoms can be so varied. My GP has just agreed with me that my constant tickly cough may well be fibro related, as x-rays and other checks have all come back normal.

Good luck. ❤️

Hi, I have this as well, on and off all day every day, feels like I’m vibrating inside, nothing visible so nobody else can see it happening, makes me feel very weak, my doctor referred me to neurologist but he couldn’t find anything to cause it, he said maybe anxiety based 😟

I have internal shaking, but only when I lay down, it's like a little earthquake is shaking the bed, except it's me inside as my partner can not feel it. It's not all the time just occasionally

My hands shake all the time. I am used to it now I don't take any notice but my family don't like it so would rather do things for me so they don't see me shake

hiya, my mum and my brother both have this. Definitely get it checked out but could likely be harmless. I believe that beta blockers help if you’re self conscious about it.

I usually get that swallowed a vibrating phone feeling when I lie down in bed and the jelly legs are an absolute joy - It's like trying to balance on stilts and always happens whenever I'm coming down stairs 😬

I have had it for years, my hands shake most of the time and that horrible feeling of your insides shaking is the worst. I was diagnosed with essential tremor but it seems there's noting I can do about it. Everything thing that happens to me seems to be Fibro.

Hi, I suffered from shakes in my hands, and my legs were so weak that if I crouched down or sat down I didn’t have the strength to get back up again without assistance. I put it down to the fibro but after having some routine blood tests I got a call from my doctor to say I had an overactive thyroid. Unfortunately it had also damaged my eyesight. If I hadn’t assumed it was the fibro causing the problems I would have got it checked out and put on meds sooner which would have prevented some of the irreversible damage. If you start with any new symptoms, my advice would be to check it with you doctor in case it could be something else.
