Hi it's my best time of the year only it's not cos of VIRUS !!!

Usually love this time of the year - The bustles over & all seems calmer only I have little recollection of the past 5 days as some gremlins have been doing a right job on me. Has anyone else succumbed. High temps/ 24 hour shakes/vom/aching (as usual) x 100/ random pains/ nasty chest/nasty sinus'- would love to hear that it's a seven day wonder please ...thanks and Happy New Year 2015. Ann

Poor you. Feel so sorry for those that are ill at this time of year. Bad enough at any time to feel crap, but when everyone else is having fun being ill is the worst. My Daughter absolutely loves Xmas, but last year, she had the flu and felt crappy and was miserable about not being able to enjoy it. So sorry that your Christmas has been spoilt by the dreaded lurge it is amazing how many people succumb to it this time of year I think it must be all the crowds. Hope that you are feeling better soon. Beings Julie has already sent the fluffy blankets I will send soft tissues and hot toddies.x

I have had the a bad christmas. I have been ill for 2 weeks now and as well as feeling like you know what I have just started my monthly!

Oh bluejeans poor you - thank goodness those are well over for me. I think you're right - It's totally thrown me. It'll be a while before Im dancing the jig. The thought of Christmas frightens me ! If I had energy it would all be put away now.

Oh well the monthly's will probably be happening for years to come as I am only 40. Hopefully we will all be feeling better soon! now the madness of christmas is over we can all forget about it for another 12 months and get on with our lives.
