I occasionally get what you call "inner tremors" I described it as though I'm plugged into a powrr socket, as it feels like a "fizzy" charge when I get that I go for my TF blood check usually needs meds adjustment x
hi im not experiencing tremors but have fibro/me and myalgia parasethia so only yesterday was looking up whether i have ms also or instead of but as i read it is very difficult to be diagnosed with ms i hope if you go to your gp they will be able to give you some answers my problems are being looked into take care joanne x
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Most members on the forum know that my wife has Primary Progressive MS, and to be honest there are huge similarities between MS and Fibro in the symptoms that manifest in the early stages of MS.
There are three kinds of MS, and the latter two, Secondary Progressive and Primary Progressive the patient can display symptoms pretty similar to Fibro. In Relapsing MS it is slightly different. Many of the Medications are the same in Fibro as those used in any Progressive MS. The only real difference in the long term is the possible outcome to health, as Progressive MS has a very poor quality of life expectation and leads to severe disability.
The only way to diagnose MS is by an MRI of the brain. Afterwards lumbar examination can be used to ascertain which type the patient has. I hope that this has given you a clearer image of MS.
I would definitely discuss this issue with your GP if you feel there could be any possibility of having MS? And I want to wish you all the best of luck.
hi the doc is keeping an eye on me as my nan died of ms before I was born well she's been gone well over 60 years when they had no meds to help so yes keep i watch xxx
Hi. There is definatley a cross over with symptoms of me, ms and fibro. I have a friend who has ms and we have compared symptoms. I have me and have a lot of symptoms of fibro.
It is worth your while to adk for a thyroid function test it's only a blood test, it could explain the tremors, I have an underactive thyroid I get the feeling of shakes but they aren't visable shake I know someone with an over active thyroid & they had visable shakes it's worth a blood test for peace of mind if nothing else, I wish you well, god bless x
I have shakes and tremors (very visible) in my hands, also sudden spasms and violent twitches so I can throw a cup of tea across the room, if I'm not careful!
I don't have MS (as far as I know). Fibro seems to share symptoms with so many other conditions, it is confusing.
All very best wishes,
Mim
Hi - I just posted a comment asking the same thing. My forearms and hands feel weak and my hands shake a little. So far it's not really noticeable to other people. I have a GP appointment next week, so will ask then. From reading the replies below, it sounds like it may be a common symptom of fibro. X
