Haven't we all?! I hope you get over the pain soon.

Rest, lie down and stretch your back; use some moist heat, etc. You know what to do.

I overdid it yesterday and my mid back is still hurting. Pace yourself, right. Yeah, right.

I often make that mistake even when I have tried to pace myself it is so hard to cope x

We've all done it Matthew!

Do we learn?

No!

Will we do it again some time?

Yes, probably!

I know that every week when I do the washing I'm going to be in agony all afternoon and night but it's something that has to be done unfortunately.

hi mathew

heres my tips get down on floor on knees on a kneeling pad and slowly remove the washing . i also have a old kids buggy with the inards removed which my washing basket fits on i put each item slowly into that . keep a chair by my side to get leverage to get up as that my big problem getting back up . anyway later on when ive recovered i wheel the washing outside . then some point later attempt to hang it out . which is again painful it does in my arm muscles and elbows and clavicle i put basket onto a chair next to my whirly and repeat the perfomance backwards when it dry . the sorting out is another convoluted story involving the tumble drier to fluff up stuff so theres no ironing that doesnt happen in my house lol the object of all this is to try and minimise the effort pain not always sucessfull

if so unwell i put it in the tumble drier which is worktop height . thats if im out of mybed lol

my dad once built a boat and called it by degrees . thats how i run my fyro life now by degrees when i dont im rendered in massive pain and regret for doing stuff the day before . im usually left in pain anyway but theres no one to do stuff i lve on my own so its the important stuff that gets done and the others dont . i rechristened my house the dustychaos hoose. the washing waits for visitors to take it upstairs by which time ive usually used up most of it again so it never gets in the drawers or wardrobes . the washing for me is my days work . them im knacked .i adapt but you do run out off adaptation and steam its really a desparate ilness when its at its worse and when its not we go and try to catch up then we bring on another flare so its endless

Yes I have done that. Often I forget I have washed towels or jeans and they are so heavy when wet and it goes back on the floor faster than it went up. Why do we never learn! Well it is because we forget for a moment we aren't the people we used to be. Hope you recover soon from the exertion.x
