sorry couldn't be more helpful. x

I take Ropinerole from my GP.

You could try hot baths to get relief until you see you doctor, As hot as you can stand. They help me when the Ropinerole fails me. :P

Yeah I get this also and as suggested I have a really hot bath two and relieves it a bit. Hope it calms down soon. Gentle hugs Shelley 😀

Would you believe that mine started not long after speaking to you. It was itchy shins that set it off. And this is the first time i have sat down since.

Now the itchings stopped ill try another bath, but have to wait now until son is home incase he needs the loo.

Oh thank goodness for that they have settled down and i can sit down at last. The pain in my legs, hips and back caused by keep walking about is also easing. And my lovely Hubby has taken over on cooking tea.

On the itching which is horrid itself. My doc gave me very large bottle of celtraben emolient cream. As well has takes the itches away a very good moisturisor for dry skin.

Hope helps x

Nothing really takes the pain or the aches but I find I can get some comfort from a body pillow and wearing socks in bed for my cold feet

Suggestion hugs x

Socks in bed? I cant even wear them during the day, they drive me mad and if that means cold feet in winter so be it.

Hi,

The restless legs are awful, I started getting it in my arms too, I went to the doctor and he put me on ropinerol, I take 1 an hour before I go to bed, it works quite well, I do still have some nights where it's not worked, on them nights I get out of bed and get on the sofa and watch the TV all night, speak to your doctor about Ropinerol,

Good luck,

Steve

Ooo i envy you. As soon as mine starts playing up i have to start walking or marking time. Sitting or lieing down is torture.

One night last week i spent 3hrs walking up and down the hall, it s a wonder that i havnt worn a groove in the floor over the years.

It is still an improvement from when i first got it and doctors had never heard of it, my doctor tried me with all sorts of medication, nothing worked and so i spent years suffering 24 hrs a day, sleeping only when exhaustion took over and even then only for a couple of hours before it woke me up again.

To me Ropinerole is a miracle, even it it doesnt always work.

I have found that if I put a pillow under my knees it helps sometimes. Baths are very helpful too. I know there are meds out there for it but alas I can't take them so don't know much about them. I already take cymbalta and that helps sometimes. My EMS unit also helps at times. As you can tell I try just about everything!!!!hugs

Yes I take 'Pramipexole 180mcg + 350mcg at night. Definitely helps relax my RLS. Speak to your GP

Good luck, let us know how you get on.

I find that wearing tubular bandages on my knees stops my restless legs at night and eases the pain during the day. Good luck :)

in reply to

Tried it and it just made it worse. :)

in reply to

Oh dear, that's a shame. But worth a try. Hope you find something that works for you :)

Things are a bit rough at the moment so i am hoping everything will settle down again once sorted.

Hi aidybaby1,

This is caused by your stagnated lymphatic system..poor circulation also..and others.

Clean your lymphatic system asap.

all the best.

Sorry to hear about your restless legs. I had to start taking Vit D because my levels were very low and discovered to my delight that the restless legs stopped too. Worth a try? All the best.

I suffer from RLS and now arms too, driving me nuts, but another suffer told me to spray perfume on the soles of my feet, and put a bar of soap under the bottom sheet foot end, of course I thought how the hell is that going to help, well Just had a bad episode so went and sprayed some perfume on the soles of my feet and it has relieved the RLS by about 80%, maybe it's an old wives tale but is's definately helped me.
