I've been struggling with my diabetes since (according to my meter) November last year. Blood glucose number up in the teens to low twenties mmol. I was told by my gp not to take my readings to put my meter in the cupboard and forget it. This is why my bg readings got out of control. I been put on a new med called something like Forxgia, it lowered my bg considerably, I have also lost 1lb since I started it. It takes the glucose out of your system, dumps it in your wee. You have to make sure you drink loads of water or it doesn't work. This med is my last chance at controlling my diabetes before going onto insulin.
I dont mind the needle it all the kerfuffle that being on insulin brings, and with fibro fog, it might prove difficult.

When we get together we all have same diet! Lol sorry just a little family joke. I hope yours is under control its hard to find something that works for you.
I understand how difficult it can be to control your levels, everyone on my mothers side of the family has type 1( I don't thankfully) and can only wish you well with your medication. xx
