Def. not fun. My health doesn't change much but how I manage changes all the time. I hear Summer is arriving mid-week! Perhaps some free vitamin D will help. :)

Take care. Tulip xx

I genuinely and sincerely hope that you feel better soon, if this is possible. Please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Diabetes on its own would be bad enough for you but with fibro on top it must be awful. Hope if the warm weather we are promised comes that it will ease the old aches and pains. Take care of yourself.x

I am the same I have Fibromyaglia and type two diabeties taking insulin and Metformin. It's so hard because I will often go long periods without eating because of pain and sugar levels floor. Then during the night awake I might start snacking. So difficult to get MEDs right, sometimes it's guess work. What about you?

Patrick.

I'm type 2 but metformin only. All right, plus statins and BP reducers etc. It's not an easy balancing act but worth putting in a bit of effort, to have a slightly better quality of life, save limbs and sight . .

And of course, then there's multiple conditions.

Big soft fluffy hugs. You need them.

Yes it is manageable if you set yourself a routine. My pancreas doesn't work atall so I am on three types of insulin one is for act rapid ie after a meal. Another is a background one that slowly releases over 24 hours. The third one is a new one which is supposed to keep your sugars between 5 and 7 all the time. I think it's a Scandinavian version of a watch they have developed in the States that automatically monitors your sugars and injects accordingly. I prefer having some control over it. I used to need it when working as some days would be super physical others at a desk. Plus I'm a bit of a chocolate monster! 😬👹

Thanks for the replies, my blood sugar levels were doing ok then all of a sudden they shot up from 5 to 21 mmol.

I was told to stop testing by my gp. This is the result. I have doubled metformin and it is making me ill
