Hello. I was wondering how many people have had a reduction in their symptoms after using turmeric?
I've tried to put it in food for my daughter, but she doesn't like the taste. However I'm keen to find a way to use it more, as she doesn't seem to need her pain killers so much, on the days after she's eaten turmeric.

I assume you use the powder? The root is also very good. It is more effective when combined with black pepper. You could make something called golden milk which is milk warmed with turmeric and pepper, with a sweetener of your choice (if needed). You must be sparing with turmeric as it is classed as 'hot' in the body so too much is not good. Use about half a teaspoon daily. I use it when I remember but I've got a bad memory so mostly forget. You can also take it mixed with honey on a spoon with hot water. I think its marvellous esp. for my horsey voice. Ginger is also good.
I do use a lot of turmeric as I cook a fair bit but not really noticed any reduction in my symptoms. I do not take the supplements though (think I said that to you last time?). I do want to wish you all the best of luck with this if you go ahead and take the supplements.
