This is my third visit to the dr in less than 3 weeks. I have had two prescriptions of antibiotics but if anything feeling worse. I've had Fibro for nearly 6 years so not sure if I'm taking longer to recover because of Fibro or if it's just a really bad infection..

Hi mitzi,

I'm sorry to hear about your rotten time, poor you !😕

I know several people who have had it this year and it seems to be a particularly virulent bug and hard to shift. I'm sorry not to be of more help, but just one thought for you, if you are taking antibiotics it is a really good idea to eat live probiotic yogurt or one of the little probiotic drinks, which replace all the good things in your stomach which the antibiotics strip out. I told a friend about this and she said she felt better in herself after starting the probiotics, I don't think it made the infection go any faster, it just took away one element which was making her feel worse, if that makes sense, (which I rarely do 😳)

Anyway, I'm sending lots of positive healing vibes your way 😀

Foggy x

Sorry you have been feeling poorly for so long I think this is a particularly virulant bug I had it at New Year and it was ages before I felt right. I think Foggies tip is a good one as antibiotics wreck havoc with your system. Yes I do think when you have fibro it makes fighting these bugs harder as your body is so low. Hope you will be feeling better soon.x

I am so very sorry to read that you are struggling so much with an infection, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to the issue. I have a lot of chest infections due to my COPD and I have found since my Fibro diagnosis that they appear to last longer and feel much worse.

I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you a speedy recovery.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
