Well this morning the "brown envelope" dropped through the letter box.

Yippee I got awarded high rate care & standard rate mobility(10) points.

Back dated, happy days. πŸ˜„

Always good to hear someone else getting what is deserved!! I got mine in Feb and it was backdated 15 months!! My flat is now being finished off and new carpets throughout! Wonderful news my lovely!.... I still get quite excited when my bank statements come in!!.... and I've even booked two holidays this year...one in May with my Son and family and another on 25th Dec-8th Jan with my sister!....much love....ninja....xxxx

Congratulations! I got high rate mobility and standard rate care a few months ago, with over Β£700 back pay, after a reconsideration. It's such a relief to know that we can get at least some of what we need. I really feel sad for those who don't as most are not any less deserving than we are. I had good help from a volunteer who came to my house and filled in my forms. She really knew her stuff.
