Gynaecological Problems

Hi have read through on here and other sites. Is it quite common for fibro suffers to have gynaecological problems. I have been to my doctor who sent me to hospital, they did an operation to remove several lumps from my womb and removed my ovaries, unfortunately I don't feel any better? Does anyone else suffer.

Hi

I can totally identify with what you are saying. I've always had Gyne problems most of my adult life, however they got a lot worse after the Birth of my youngest son 5 years ago.

With ovarian cysts and severe pain I ended up with a partial hysterectomy 2years ago.

This year in the summer I was finally diagnosed with Fibro...and it stemed from my pregnancy with my son. So although I never regretted having a hysterectomy I may have not needed it!

Hope that helps?

As a man I do not really know much about this, but I wanted to wish you all the best of luck with finding the answers that you are looking for. All I can say is that Fibro can strike wherever you have muscle tissue, so the answer is probably yes?

All my hopes and dreams for you
