Flu jab
I have never been asked to attend for flu jab because of fibro, so I doubt it, I could be wrong. Take alook at the link below and see what you think, don't forget fibro is an imbalance in what the brain percieves to be severe pain even though it is in fact mild, it is a chemical imblanace, cannot be cured because no one knows what the chemical balance should be in the brain in the first place xxxx
Hi,
it's not classified as necessary by NHS criteria. You can have it done somewhere like Boots if you pay for it though.

Well my GP always calls me in for a shot and when I asked why he told me my system was autoimmune compromised, so make of that what you will, I just go along for another stabbing, just as well I don't have any needle phobia hehe
The strange thing is/was when I was very very I'll some years back (not Fibro related at all) everyone used to get highly excitable every winter about the possibility of me catching a cold or flu and that doing away with me, and I can honestly say in about 18 years I did not have one cold or bout of flu, which really used to make my GP in those days rather cross as he always held it over my head rather like the sword of Damocles, but it never happened. Hehehe. Foggy 18 - Dr W 0 hehehe wicked Foggy x
Hi reeneroo
I have other health issues besides my Fibro, so I always have a flu jab. It may be worth discussing the situation with your GP to see if they will give you one?
All my hopes and dreams for you
Ken
Flu jabs good to have under most circumstances even if you have to pay sometimes.
