Sometimes you just don't think it can be possible to feel so tired everyday...it is an awful feeling. It is hard with people around you to...trying to explain how you feel, like their thinking what tired again today!!! I wish you all the best xx

I know just how you feel, i get so exhausted, it makes me feel sick and ill. The pains are bad,but like you the tiredness is worse, no matter how much sleep i have. I just wish people would understand, but they haven't got a clue. I always say, i wish the people in my life, (family and friends) could have fibro for a week, just to see what we all mean.

I am right with you I'm unable to do almost anything without being totally fatiqued. I have had to hire a housekeeper to clean twice a week. I have to ride in a scooter when I go grocery shopping and I can only get a few things at a time. My husband has to do the actually shopping and everything else I'm just not able to do. Sometimes I can barely shower I have a chair so I can sit and shower. So you are not alone. xxx

Hi Pinkprincess205

I am so sorry to read that you are feeling so fatigued all of the time, and I genuinely hope that you can find the answers that you are so desperately searching for?

I was wondering if you had a good relationship with your GP? As there are medications that can be prescribed to help combat fatigue. My wife suffers with MS, and fatigue is a major issue for her, and she has been prescribed a drug called Amantadine to help fight fatigue. I do not know if it would be worth discussing this with your GP or Specialist?

FROM MS WEBSITE:

Amantadine is an antiviral medication used to prevent or treat certain influenza infections; it is also given as an adjunct for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. It has been demonstrated that this medication is sometimes effective in relieving fatigue

I want to wish you all the best of luck with this.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Morning Ken

I hope you not feeling too bad and that you manage a good day.

I was very interested in what you had to say about Amantadine. The ill/exhaustion/fatigue feelings I have are so unmanageable and make life very difficult. I was so pleased to learn that something may help. I will speak with my GP. Thank you so much.

Take care. Lyn xxx

(I trust you are enjoying the new Doctor Who? :)

Hi lynzard

I sincerely hope that you are feeling well today? I am fine thank you, and very engrossed in the new Dr Who series!

It is always worth discussing this medication with your GP, as my wife says that it really works for her. I want to wish you all the best of luck with this.

Take care

Hiya Ken. what happened last week I missed it. No tv in the tent.

Got home and my computer has forgotten me, I am using my sons password and having to go through pinterest to sign in.

I cant get onto my e mails, or face book,I am hoping that son will be able to sort it when he gets back from cyprus.

I enjoyed having the freedom of being able to go out and about in my chariot all around the camp site. going to car boot sales and markets, playing fetch with the dog on the dog fields and doing doughnuts and patterns in the sand on the beach.

The down side was that we really struggled to pitch the tent and then pack away after. Well at least now we know that our camping days are over and its time to look at alternatives.

Hoping that you, julie and Linda are all as well as can be.

Hugs sue xx

Hi sue

It sounds like you had a really good holiday, and had plenty of fun! So I am truly delighted for you. I hope that he can sort it all out for you when he gets back. I hope that you feel relaxed and refreshed, although coming home to computer problems soon makes your BP rise?

I am not too bad thanks, Julie been ill in bed all week and I had the kids up to help look after her. Linda has to wait for a new heart monitor as she has broke the last one! I kept saying to her don't keep pressing the little button but every time I looked away all I could hear was click, click, click!

Dr Who was really good. There was an ill Dalek and his illness made him turn good. However the doctor cured him and he became evil again! Just as this Dalek sent a message to his fellow Daleks and they were killing everyone they could find on a space ship the doctor managed to reverse the cure and the Dalek exterminated all the other Daleks. It was a bit of a rip off of that film whereby everybody went in a submarine and got shrunk so they could enter a human body to cure the patient, but of course this was with a Dalek!

Take care my friend and hope to see you up and running again soon.

Ken x x

I hope you mean the computer, not me thats up and running.

I am pooped and still a load of unpacking, sorting and washing to do.

I feel like John Hurts doctor. No more, definately no more.

Anyone with a caravanet for sale.

Hope Julie soon picks up. give her a gentle hug from me.

For me the fatigue and fuzzy head is harder to cope with than the physical pain. I hate feeling slow and stupid and being too tired to have any kind of social life.

Naps and resting aren't an option due to a very busy working week, and honestly they make no difference to the fatigue, I keep pushing through it and am only occasionally physically as unable as my brain tries to tell me I am!

I started taking vitamin b12 and vitamin d 4 weeks ago and I've honestly seen a massive improvement. I still have bad days, typically when my pain is high I'm also more fatigued and fuzzy, but some days my head almost feels normal again.

I hope you can find something that helps. It's a truly horrible feeling xx

Hi sorry u feel like that, have u been tested for vitamin b12 deficiency and iron? I have and I am lacking in both it turns out I can't store b12 and have injections every 12 weeks this helps with tiredness and being aneimic doesn't help, but I don't feel as tired as I was before it has helped a little,

Sorry for the spelling lol fibro fog lol

Becky1970

Hi, I have been hearing that all week! "have an early night". My poor hubby said that again yesterday and I swear If I had of had the energy I would have swiped him :) needless to say I didn't.

If I drink a lot of water, cut out tea and coffee and then go for a gentle walk in the fresh air it helps sometimes, other times I have to give up a go lie down. Your body will only let you do so much :)

I hope you feel a little better soon :)

It's awful I know.

Have you tried some pacing techniques. Doesn't take it away but can help to avoid extremities sometimes.

Wish I had magic wand x

I agree on the pacing jellnpain, if you mean activities. It helps some to spread things out. Even try to save a light something for the afternoon when I would want to collapse. Of course, I usually do anyway, but maybe for less time.

My FM is not as advanced as many, so my symptoms are not as bad, but I do have the chronic fatigue. I just wish I could get my GP to write that down (to help my disability case). He also won't prescribe anything for anxiety. He is so worked up about addiction!

My best to you in beating this or at least making it better. Ken's suggestion of looking into amantadine sounds really hopeful.

Be sure to come back and let us know how it's going! Clare

Sorry you're feeling this way,

I struggle with this too....this time last week I was the same. I agree pacing helps I do find it worse when I sleep too long or not enough make sure you get at least 6 or 7hrs sleep a night and keep a good routine.

After a good sleep last night I feel better than I did Wednesday. 10 hrs is needed when I've been doing alot it puts me right.

I take vitamin D and a multi vitamin floradix it keeps me from napping too much. Sounds very obvious lol but Try to eat the right nutrients which will balance your energy. Alot of fruit, veg, fish nuts all the right stuff try to avoid processed foods as they make you feel sluggish.

Sorry if it doesn't all make sense brain fog

Hope it gets better for you

So no fatigue isn't any better. Now going through the insomnia stage again. So ridiculously tired all the time but not sleeping until 3/4am n awake again by 8/9am. So even more fatigued than before. Damn this illness does my bl**dy head in. Oh what it would be to just be my old 'normal' self again.
