Swelling in Arm
does not sound like fibro. Could it be a boil / bite / or infection.
Hi Carolynd
I am so sorry to read that you have such a horrid swelling on your arm, and as Betty67 says it doesn't really sound like Fibro? Mind you, I am not a doctor! I think it would be best to get your GP to have a look at this just to rule anything else out?
I want to wish you all the best of luck with finding the answers that you so desperately desire and deserve.
All my hopes and dreams for you

I'd go to gp I can remember being told that there's no inflammation with fibro I think that means swelling. X
Hi Carolynd, I do know that with fibro we have more inflammation in our bodies than the average person. I have bursitis in my shoulder and sometimes have to get shots. This might be your problem. When you see your gp I'm sure he'll know what to do. I do have lots of pain in my shoulders, neck, and the back of my head. It comes from tension in my muscles. Nothing has helped me but going to a pain clinic, but that was totally different than the bursitis pain. Hope this helps sweetheart, and you get some relief very soon!!! xxx Mitzi
