Hi Julie63, I have always loved art and painted bits over the years but it wasn't until I was unable to work in mainstream employment that I was able to sink it.Xxx

Thankyou my darling. I have been told a few times I have a certain style which is a lovely compliment. Xxx

:( No can see :( I love drawing and painting .but last time I tried to do some it hurt my fingers. I`ll have another go one day. Sorry I can`t comment on your picture.

Bless you, I have bad days where I can't sit in one place long enough and at first my hands really played up but I find the benefits really outweigh the negative. Xxx

I find that I am OK with crochet and cross stitch so it must be using my hands in a different way that causes problems with painting. I have just started Dr Who cross stitch, I intend to make a cabbage patch Granpa when I get the right materials and have started crocheting christmas gifts for next year. So I do have lots to keep me busy. hugs xx

I can't see it either but being creative is a fantastic way to help get through what fibro and all the other illnesses throw at us and am pleased to hear your positive success.

I must admit though Freyeesha that your post sounds like an advert Re: selling your work, or soliciting for sales which possibly contravenes HU guidelies and I shall have to discuss this with my peers especially as their is no direct link!

Regards

:) xxxsianxxx :)

Hi, It certainly wasnt meant as an advert. I posted one a few months ago and was asked by several people if I sold etc so I just wanted to show that we can still do something to give a feeling of worth after the horrendous effect this illness has on us. If my encouragement to others is not a good thing Sian I shall remove them and not comment anymore..

Hi Freeysha :)

Apologies my friend :)

I have spoken to one of my peers and you're post is ok so you don't need to remove it I just wish I could see your painting :o

I actually remember you from before and it is my own personal opinion that as long as the encouragement is in line with getting others to be creative and not to buy your work then there is no problem :)

I am an artist myself so is my hubby just don't practise it that much anymore :)

There's a Beta trial and those of us participating are not getting pictures so please don't worry you haven't done anything wrong :) Hope I get to see it soon

Lovely picture that I can see and did not see it as an advert just someone proud of their work. having someone willing to spend money to obtain ones work is a very positive mood enhancer.

This is beautiful. I have a daughter who loves this particular style of painting. Well done for finding a way to use your fibro for distraction and benefit from it :)

I love this image, and colours subtle and understated. I have an art and craft workshop near me that run great courses for all types of skills. I'm better at crafts than art but you never know until you give it a go! Thanks for posting. X.
