Morning Chris I am so sorry you are having a rough ride at the moment. I must admit I do not know the answer to your question. Do you have a carer or somebody who comes in and helps you? How are you actually managing at the moment.?

Common sense would say there is help and funds available it is all a matter of routing it through to you. Please do not ever feel alone, we understand your predicament and have tremendous empathy for you. Okay so remember we are here for you and it try and help you through this so let me know your situation and then we can move on. xxgins

Hi chris69

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I am so sorry to read that you are suffering in this way and I was wondering if you have ever tried to claim carers allowance? I have pasted you a link to the GOV.UK web page relating to this below:

gov.uk/carers-allowance/how...

If you are successful you can use the monies to pay for any extra personal care that you may need, and this includes paying a relative to help you.

I want to wish you all the best of luck with this.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Hi again chris69

So sorry to read that you have never been awarded care component, I have pasted you two links that address the issue of appealing and / or trying to increase your award, so I hope that these can answer your question? I am so sorry but they are 'tough' reading, as one of them is a pdf file.

advicenow.org.uk/advicenow-...

static.advicenow.org.uk/fil...

Good luck with this, and I genuinely hope that you can achieve care component.
