Berocca Boost?

Somebody once, I'm sure it was here, mentioned the benefits of something called Berocca/Berroco Boost (or something similar) but I can't find it in my local health shop or remember what it helped! I think it gave energy and warded off colds but my fibro fogdom might be remembering all that wrong!

Yes you are right it is Berocca Boost you can get it from chemist like LLoyds and the bigger supermarkets. They do muti vitamin type tablets also which are effervescent so are supposed to go into your system quicker and be more easily absorbed and the Berocca Boost which is supposed to give you body a little bit of a kick start. A starting handle is insufficient for mine! My old boss used to swear by it but it can be a bit expensive as compared with some multi vitamins if you are taking it on a regular basis.

Thanks so much, rosewine :-) I have never been able to find it and looked for ages. I think I did see it once and thought i'd buy it at a later time but never saw it again. I've not seen it in Superdrug or my local health shop which has all sorts of things but maybe Morrison's do it, I will look next time I'm there. Thanks

Hi Kirby

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Yes, I have seen this in the supermarket where I shop. I also remember the TV advert with the dancing lumberjacks! It is an energy drink of some sort? Not something that I have tried though.

If you decide to give it a go I want to wish you the best of luck and I hope that it really works well for you.

Take care

Many thanks, Ken. I think it's an effervescent drink eg putting tablets into water which fizz and Rosewine has confirmed this.

Hello All,

I have recently been taking some supplements which have No additives, Non GM, No gluten, No Diary, No Wheat & N o artificial colours by this new company who seem to have good reviews.

I think I feel they are helping but cannot really tell yet I suppose.I like the fact they are so Organic as I suppose some vitamins have other ingredients that may not be. The pot I bought was roughly £20 for 250 tablets and you take 8 a day to start with then 4 a day.

If you are interested in reading the website for yourself please private message me or any volunteer and we'll give you the link. Obviously please check with your GP before adding anything even vitamin supplements before taking to be on the safe side.

Ken: In advance you are probably going to ask if they are lactose free, you know it doesn't say an email to them may answer this tho'

Best Wishes

Emma :)

Thanks. I have messaged you, Emma.

I have had cousins bring some great little effervescent vitamins from the States but alas you can't get them here. They are called Airborne and they are also great for warding off colds and giving you that extra energy kick.

Berocca Boost is available from Waitrose, expensive, but if you have access to Waitrosse they do a Love Life version which has exactly the same ingredients and same quantities.

All the big supermarkets do them, some doing their own version too. They are quite expensive but I find they do give me an energy boost. I use the ones you dissolve in water for a drink. The only thing I struggle with is that they must have colouring in as my 'wee' goes very yellow afterwards!! X.
