I woke up on Sunday morning feeling so cold that I was shaking so violently it woke my wife who checked my temperature and called the ambulance.
They arrived eventually and gave me a couple of paracetamol to reduce the temp which worked because I was I bit more warm although speaking gibberish (more than normal) and they took me to the ambulance, hooked me up to the IV Fluids and off we went with the Blues and nana nana.
That is one thing about getting in by ambulance you do get seen quicker.
I had an X-Ray and diagnosed with the dreaded pneumonia (again). I went to ACU and after a few hours (or Days) I was sent up to the ward for general medicine.
I spent at least four days on that ward.
The strange thing is that as I was staying in longer the worse my cough has gotten, although I still cant bring anything up
Just thought I would let you all know why the sudden disappearance plus I missed easter sunday.
Very tired now so off to bed I go.
Take great care and kindest regards
Terry
