Hi amanda2277
I sincerely hope that you are as well as can be? And I am so sorry that you are suffering in this way at the present time. I honestly think when any of us get new symptoms or symptoms that we are unsure about that we should go and visit our GPs. I know many patients feel that they are somehow bothering their GPs but this is what they get paid for. Especially since you have mentioned breathlessness and forceful heartbeat.
I was wondering what medications you are on? As it is possible that your medicines could cause you to have side effects. I am very aware that medications such as Ventolin can cause me to have cardiac-arrhythmia type side-effects if I use my inhalers too much.
Despite saying this, I still think the best course of action is a trip to see your doctor and get your mind put at rest. Please let us know what your GP says.
All my hopes and dreams for you

Morning Amanda,
I believe some of us do suffer with shakes , but generally hands or legs. I would definitely make an appointment as Ken suggest go to you Doctor Do tell them all your problems and if fog is a problem write a list to take with you, I do it is a sensible way of making sure you say every think.
Do let us know how you get on please. Take care

Amanda,
I would consider seeing a sleep specialist if the problem mainly bothers you at night and a neurologist if it bothers you more during the day. I would love to expand on this but it is against the forum rules for me to do so. Be well.

Hello Amanda2277,
I wonder if I may mention Dysautonomia to you , as your symptoms sound like they may be associated with this, as a part of Fibro.
Autonomic Dysfunction (sometimes called Dysautonomia) of some kind is common with Fibro: this simply means that the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) isn't working properly.1 The ANS keeps various factors in your body at normal levels, including heart rate, blood pressure, perspiration and respiration (Lindsey Middlemiss 2009)

Obviously I am not a Doctor and cannot diagnose you but I thought it might be something to consider. At the moment I am being investigated for the condition Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome PoTS which is a form of Dysautonomia and some of the symptoms you mention seem to be similiar. Here is some information about PoTS for your interest;
stars.org.uk/patient-info/c...
As you have mentioned you are going to discuss these symptoms with your GP, which is of course the right thing to do as anything that could be possibly have symptoms of increased heart rate and/or seizures should be investigated as there is always potential for other conditions which may need treatment.
Please let us know how you get on and if your GP cannot find a physical cause you may wish to read this information as it may be possible that Dysautonomia may be involved.
Best Wishes
