  • My beloved little monster (aged 3) was flicking through the tv channels (has mastered use of the remote control) and came across the same programme on different channels (and she doesn't like this programme) so she said "I don't want that, we've already had this conversation" - I've giggled for hours!

Another recent gem was whilst balancing along the path edging in the park at the weekend, "I'm trying to get my sense of balance" (Daddy had used the phrase the day before)

  • Crikey Lucy your wee little girl is learning quick those stories are really funny:) Youngsters are fab i remember my ex partners daughter was once skipping, dancing and singing through the rooms and the kitchen (long galley), looking like she was up to mischief. She was heading off up the stairs when her daddy shouted what have you got in your hands P?

There was a long pause and look of confusion on her face and then she said 'wallpaper dad' . That had me chuckling for ages still makes me laugh now :D

  • Okay some more facts about laughter :)

Laughing 100 times roughly equals 15 minutes on an exercise bike? Vigorous laughter increases the heart rate deepens the breathing rate, and uses muscles in the face, stomach, and diaphragm.

The 1998 movie Patch Adams told the real-life story of a nonconformist doctor convinced that fun, play, and clowns are important in improving patients' quality of life in a grim hospital atmosphere.
