It's a dog's life :-)

Well, as we all know how grim yesterday was, there were certain doglets who found the whole thing way to boring to even bother about asking for walks. Instead, they instigated a snoozeathon , as you can see the smalls own and Tchenka the lab lost out on the bedding stakes and had to lie on an ordinary dog bed and not the dog bean bag, which is considered the best spot !! If Friday turns out to be the same as yesterday I think I will be curled up on my bean bag too :D :D

Yes, Tchenka (pronounced dropping the T) and Nellie, (on the bed with Mr B and Poppie) are my friend's doglets, they all get on just sooo well, it's a joy :-)

Hi Foggy,

I remember you saying that you would be on your own for Christmas but would have the company of your doglets. What could be better than canine company. They are so faithful and accept us as we are. We have 2 rescue dogs and 2 pussycats, too. We took the doggies out yesterday and today and, apart from that, we have just had a meal and then relaxed. Neither of us have much energy and I certainly cannot entertain people any more or have anyone to stay. I hardly have the energy to get through the day myself never mind wait on anybody else. I am very lucky in that my OH loves cooking. I laid the table and helped to clear away and then had an early night! I'll probably go off early again this evening! I realise that I am much worse than I was this time last year.

I hope that you had a reasonably pain free day and that you enjoyed your day in the company of your furry friends.

I'd love to know how to post a picture to this site. When I have tried to post a thumbnail size photo it comes up as an incompatible size. I don't know if I am doing something wrong. Do you have any advice, Foggy?

I hope you are having a good Boxing Day and I wish you a very happy New Year.

Hugs Saskia XX

Hi Saskia, thank you for your kind words :-) the doglets were extremely good company, I was not feeling great, neck, back and pelvis all joining force to attack me at the moment, but I am trying to think of a cunning plan to fox them all :o

About pictures, it seems we can't add them to the body of our text (I so wish we could and have mentioned it before to Mdaisy in the hope that it might be arranged) but when you start a post, once you have filled in the title box, then the body of the text box, there is a button which says 'Image .... optional, click on that and it will ask whether you want to 'choose existing' or 'take video or picture' ..... I normally go for choose existing as I have loads of pictures saved for Pic of the day........so you go and choose your picture and it automatically downloads it and **swish** there! you are, with your picture ! Hope this helps a bit, but if you have more problems come back to me and I will see if I can help more :-)

I've had a lovely Boxing Day, took the doglets for a small walk as the sky was clear blue and lovely, so I made the best of it :D Then a dear friend popped in and we did both of the Telegraph crosswords together, which was great fun and we managed to finish both the small one and the cryptic...... Yay ! :D stirs up what remains of my family brain cell (which isn't very much !! ),

Hope to catch up again and I very much envy your two lovely cats, don't let Zeb know this, she thinks I'm the master of the evil cats, which of course I'm not, but I do love cats and so miss my Hollyberry who was the most beautiful tabby tortie with semi long hair, I had her for 18 very happy years and she was a pure delight :-)

Hi Foggy, by following your instructions I just managed to send a picture of one of our doggies through. Thank you. I may experiment some more now I know what to do. Thank you for your lovely reply. I'll respond in the next day or 2. Gentle hugs Saskia XX
