Stupid animal owners

Yesterday I felt great so I decided to take my dog to heaton Park for a walk, I did really well stopping and resting on benches when ever we saw one. My dog has a harness on with bright labels that say space needed anxious dog and people still ignored it and let there dog invade her space, she growled at them all she got upset and agitated it really p * * * * d me off. I told one guy who laughed because he thought his sausage dog was scaring her because she was trying to get away from it its not funny if she bit your dog she would get into trouble because her breed is classed as dangerous (doberman) even though you have been warned if your dog can not come when called you shouldn't let it off the lead. It really ruined my day. Then I woke with sore hips and foot. Sorry for the rant but stupid pet owners annoy me so much iv ordered a cs gas spray for dogs so next time I'll just spray the dogs that won't move. Rant over!

Whatever group there will always be some who let the rest down. In my wardening days i had a phone call from a member of the public about dogs worrying cattle. By the time i was on site the culprit had gone. I sat down to wait for the nearby tea shop to open. Of 15 dogs that passed by, 12 were off lead despite big notices

Agreed there are many irresponsible owners and during lockdown it will only get worse as parks get more busy. Do hope you mean something like the dog corrector spray by the company of animals which makes a noise and is compressed air and not CS spray which is a nasty irritant and can do damage.

Yes I do mean that I just couldn't think of the name and in my head thought of it as cs gas for pets. If I actually has teal cs gas I would spray the owner not the dog

Yes my rescue dog has a Nervous printed in big letters on a bright yellow coat but I reckon very few owners can read. You should spray the owners not the dogs.x

As you can see by her photo she has a high vis on that says she's nervous of people and dogs but owners think its funny as though there *** if there little dog scares my doberman

They are so stupid. Nervous dogs can attack purely because they are so scared and then they would be the first one to moan. A lovely disabled lady used to walk her rescue o the park near me, she had done wonders with that dog and it was just turning the corner and respond well to polite dogs when someone new started walking their very bouncy dog on the park and thought it was fine to let it off the lead end bounce all over her dog. Like ours it had a high vis jacket on, when she admonished the woman the woman said oh I thought it was a fashion accessory. Now she is frightened to bring her dog on the park and will only walk it on the streets close to home.Makes memsk mad.

Just make sure you and your dog are safe. A lot of untrained dog owners out there!

Yep plus gets me is when go likes of Chesil Beach fishing idiots walking there dogs they crap then they put in there dinky bag dog crap bags!.......Then leave on the Beach or hanging in trees like there is some dogs poop collection service! ........You Brought it you take it with you Crap also! We take anything we brought with us and often others Shite always have/find a bag to put Rubbish in then Bin it later or put in my rucksack.

Weve had a few run ins with others inc Anglers over Shite left behind!

And any animal if you can't control it A should be out in a Public place B keep it on a lead!

Trouble is Many Animals have a far higher IQ than the Prawn Feeding it!

Hi yes I know your pain some people don’t understand I had this with my German shepherd she had the yellow warning on her but idiots don’t get it and then because of the breed of my dog always got the blame when you get the little dogs coming up starting I used to get so stressed walking her because of the ignorance of some dog owners good luck

Thats how I feel I never want to hurt another animal but I am just going to kick them out of the way now, if you can't recall your dog it should be on a lead my dog has never bit anything she is 7 so dont want to muzzle her now just because dogs approach her and wont leave her alone

If you have to kick someone, try the owner, not the dog.

Wow! I take it you aren't in Britain, as CS spray would not be allowed, but I would suggest a Super Soaker Water gun; doesn't harm the dogs, but is also useful for angry humans!

Aggression against dogs or owners will only escalate situations. Going to turn off comments.
