Nefopam?
Hello Michabc,
Please can I provide a link to our website about Nefopam which may help;
fibroaction.org/Pages/Analg...
I personally tried it and it did not help but we are all individual and what works for one doesn't work for another. For instance Gabapentin & Amitriptyline didn't seem to help me either. However, Nefopam may work for you.
I currently take Pregabalin, Tramadol, Duloxetine & Pramiprexole and a few others for B12 & Vitamin D deficiency. I am personally wondering whether it may be worth discussing your medications with another GP or be referred to a Pain Clinic as I take Tramadol & Duloxetine which is in the same family as Fluoxetine. I think you may find others do in the community too.
Unless you have some medical history that he/she is concerned about with their professional knowledge about the potential interactions of the medications maybe?
Obviously you should always take advice from your Healthcare Professional at all times but asking about the potential concerns & risks they are worried `about compared to the possible benefits it may be worth discussing it further.
I hope this information helps
