It is Saturday Wow that crept up on me hat a fast week I have had.

I was lucky to have a series of visitors and now the house is so quiet. No more till 16th so time to reorganise

How is the crafting going this week I have nearly completed a picture of two owls I will put it up soon

Does creative and imaginative writing like my balloon ride count? or make-believe written sketches? I only craft with writing so feel a bit left out ................ whimper!.......... whimper!

I'm still busy making felt poppys for everyone who saw the first one I made, they all want one, so I am busily working away at those, but I want to start making some felted angels, so maybe I will take a break from the poppys today and try to make a start on an angel....... You will of course be the first to see any results Hehehe I wish you could have seen what just happened, I'm typing this with my Poppie dog on my lap together with the iPad and she turned her nose and hit the space key and a couple of letters so you very nearly had an extremely odd comment

Hehehehehehehehahaha,I would have like to have seen that foggy now iam wondering what the comment could have been regarding the crafty thing,I think I will have a go at trying something out.Dont know if this counts but this morning I was counting money with my youngest son as he has a pot of change and was showing him how to do sums when I had the idea of making a picture out of coins so I made a coin flower,sun and bird flying,hehe then a car and a face out of nuts and seeds.My son made a car sounds silly but I felt really pleased with myself

It doesn't sound silly at all haribo, it sounds delightful, and what better way to help your lovely son with his sums and the face out of nuts and seeds is good. I did a similar thing once with one of my many godchildren and used all different shapes of pasta to glue on paper to make pictures, together with seeds and nuts, she was chuffed to bits with the result and had managed to get through an entire afternoon without having a strop, which for her at the time was something pretty remarkable !!

I was at a green fair today. Someone was selling framed felt pictures, some with sheep Foggy. You could set up business together, FoGins Feltin's? You could have a post for the best company name, I'm sure there will be much better suggestions put forward.

Hi Is, now there's a thought, me and gins in business, trouble is I'm playing catch up, gins is so much more experienced than I am and my stuff would look pretty shabby alongside hers.

I'm onto making angels at the moment and have broken two needles already which is pretty good going for a numpty like me. At the moment I'm hoping that overnight it might morph into something much more angelic looking , working on the wings atm, and trying to do separate feathers so they look more realistic, but can I get them all the same shape and the right lengths.........Foggy by name and nature lalalalala :o
