An interesting post about vitamin d, fibro and sleep (amongst other things!) Ardea, thought of you when posting.

Good morning fibro mites! As some of you may have read, I have low vitamin d and this has prompted an avalanche of research on my part. I stumbled across this article - food for thought to be taken with a pinch of salty realism, but definitely of interest to all of us.

Thank you for posting this. I have low vitamin d they put me on tablets that didn't work then they told me to by a special lamp that still hasn't made my levels increase but that is a very interesting article because I sleep rubbish !!!!

Oh boy! I should get my tablets from the docs tomo, hoping they work!! Can you ask for an injection? Perhaps you aren't absorbing the tablets as lots of people are affected by lack r digestive enzymes etc which aid the absorption in the gut. Perhaps push the docs for injections? Xx

My daughter had to have Vitamin D supplements from our gp - we took her as she felt so low & sad & we thought she might be anaemic. Anyway, turned out she was really deficient in Vitamin D, but now she has been on the supplements & has been eating more fish & eggs, & she is a lot better.
