stage 5 kidney disease and at the point where I have to decide on which dialysis to go with--Home HD or PD. Would appreciate anyone on dialysis to say which one they decided on and experience with that type. Need help making decision.

Hi, I’m seeking anyone with personal experience or knowledge of someone else undergoing Pluvicto while on dialysis. We are running into many roadblocks getting my dad Pluvicto, because the dialysis center wants his first dialysis after each Pluvicto infusion to be done somewhere else.

I am undergoing this complexity because the anesthesiologist will only do the procedure at the hospital because I am on dialysis. And I undergo dialysis for 4 hours 3 days a week, which also limits the days I can have the colonoscopy. I find this very frustrating.

Hello All just wanted to know how many years have or was on dialysis and how did you cope? I may end up here and I am 34.. I hear you can’t live long on dialysis but with a transplant you can not sure how true this is

He is feeling too weak since we started dialysis (currently twice a week) which is also impacting his mental health. Please advice how we stop the dialysis and control creatinine and urea figures with diet.

Hello I'm currently a dialysis patient, diabetic, and heart failure I was recently diagnosed with. So my question is there anyone living with heart failure and doing dialysis?I'm not sure on what I should be feeling finding out about living with heart failure. Any advice would help.

Recently diagnosed PAF, no treatment as on dialysis already for kidney failure. Anyone else have similar? Thanks in advance.

The problem is… he had a Cardiac arrest 8 months ago whilst on Dialysis in hospital luckily he is okay now! My mum was learning the machines ready for home dialysis at the time and now because of the Cardiac arrest it has completely put her off and she doesn’t want that responsibility.

Been advised she does not have enough blood and dialysis might be too much for her. What would be the best advice here. Been to a nephrologist who suggested immediate dialysis but we are worried she might get worse since she does not have enough blood and she is advanced in age.

When I told them at clinic, my Neph said it has nothing to do with dialysis. I could not believe it. It has everything to do with dialysis and it is very common. It is called CKD-aP.

I got CKD stage 5. I would like to know more about in home treatment options. Any suggestions?

I have a friend who freezes whenever she has dialysis treatments at Davita. Some of Davita's facilities will allow a blanket to be heated in a microwave, while others are uncaring, unmerciful, and won't. Electric blankets are not allowed at all.
