Hi, hope everyone is feeling well today, and has been coping ok in this very hot weather. Does anyone know how long an ESA appeal takes to process. I called them the other day, and was told it could take six to nine months. Just wanted to know if this was true!! Not that it suprises me that much!!!! Thanks, and have a great evening. ESA Appeals
Hi
I'm at the same stage as you. I received a letter after I sent my appeal form in and it said that it could take between 29 & 31 weeks to process as they are so busy. This was last month.
Hope that helps.
Coz xx
Hi Coz, thanks for that, it does help to know that we're all in it together!! Good luck with your appeal, let me know how you get on!! Best Wishes, liz xx
Hi Liz
Good luck to you too.
Let's hope we get what we deserve.
Shall we keep in touch? I'll let you know if/when I hear anything.
All the very best.

I think I must have been very lucky.I sent my letter to appeal, and 4 weeks later I was told I had been put in the support group. When I was dealing with DLA it took over 2 years.Good luck hope the next dreaded brown envelope you get has good news
Hi, i put my appeal in July 2012 & it got heard February 2013.Luckily I won, and had money backdated. Good Luck with yours. Hope you get a good result. Take Care x
Mine took about 7 months after which they still got it wrong. I was appealing being placed in the work related group instead of the support group. I had to appeal all over again and this time it took about 4 months lol. you gotta just laugh out loud sometimes and say what the f**k...
Hi, I also appealed against being transferred from Incapacity benefit to the WRAG group as I thought I should be in the support group. I received a letter saying that they had looked at my claim again and I am now in the support group. I received this within 4 weeks. I didnt have to attend a medical. It was a very worrying time though. Hope you hear soon about your appeal.
