Hi, hope everyone is feeling well today, and has been coping ok in this very hot weather. Does anyone know how long an ESA appeal takes to process. I called them the other day, and was told it could take six to nine months. Just wanted to know if this was true!! Not that it suprises me that much!!!! Thanks, and have a great evening. Best Wishes xxx

Hi

I'm at the same stage as you. I received a letter after I sent my appeal form in and it said that it could take between 29 & 31 weeks to process as they are so busy. This was last month.

Hope that helps.

Hi, I also appealed against being transferred from Incapacity benefit to the WRAG group as I thought I should be in the support group. I received a letter saying that they had looked at my claim again and I am now in the support group. I received this within 4 weeks. I didnt have to attend a medical. It was a very worrying time though. Hope you hear soon about your appeal.
