I nearly wept at how accurate the writer was. I live in some fear of being seen to be more able than I am, when I have a good day. I have recently spent months being too ill / exhausted to answer the phone, or have any sort of life. Am new to Frankie, but will be watching it more.
It does show ATOS and its catch 22 system up for what it is, unworkable, and inhumane. The fact that people try to work, then crash and burn, in a downward spiral of ill health, or that we try to have some sort of social life, and are then taken to not have as debilitating a disorder, is known to many of us. It was portraid well in Frankie. Cathy
Hi mo I seen Frankie last night and thought that was brill the way they told the story about atos so true how we are all treated by them x
I am watching Watchdog now on Sky, there is no mention of a report on Atos.
How sad was it watching the woman with lupus struggling and having to finally go home to her elderly parents because she couldn't cope and had no money. This was portrayed in way that showed just how ruthless and cruel this government is regarding people with disabilities. How dare they treat people this way terrorising disabled and sick people. Cameron and cohort is busy sticking their noses in to other countries affairs about how they treat there countrymen they should look closer to home..foodbanks for those who work is nothing short of disgusting and robbing the sick an d disabled by terrorising them... shame on them...their greed knows no bounds.. rant over!!!
