I am so glad for you ....unfortunately just to burst your bubble slightly indefinitely is now being taken to mean reviewed sometime after October 2015 as my yearly dla was increased to indefinite I was celebrating till I got a letter a few weeks later from the dla saying from October 2015 all indefinite awards would be transferred to PIP gradually.

well done, but so true about 2015, we have to go through it all again so as to let all those M.P.s get their £20,000, pay rise, we all should help them by taking a cut in all our Benefits just live on a £1 per day, lmbo, hugs to the bits that don't hurt

Hi ,

Brillant :) I to had a descion changed took 2 weeks , I'm now on high rate mobility and care indefinite , it was due to run out in feb 2014 , I reapplied for a longer period as my scooter wouldn't fit in my car , so needed to change the car , which needed at least 12 months left.

I couldn't believe it was done so quick.

There is hope people .

Hi

It is true about 2015 , but according to the daily mail yesterday only 30% will be checked , and starting with the people whose been on indefinite over 5 yrs , has anyone actually filled pip form in yet ? It started 1 st June or new claims .

Hi it's me again ,

After posting my good news , I got talking to a benefits officer , who has said indefinite means til jan 2014 , as dla officially ends then and people will get a letter to day dla has ended do they wish to apply for pip , as we don't automatically migrate to pip , so sounds like I could have shot my self in the foot , as my dla was due to end in feb .

Anyone else heard this ?????

Confused x

Only new claimants and those who have renewal dates for their DLA before 2015 are being processed for PIP.

The Government has said anyone currently with a DLA "indefinite" decision will not be seen until after 2015, ie once they've lost the election and can leave it to others to sort out their mess!

Thank you for that information , seems benefit officers haven't a clue .

This site has helped me so much , and or probably the only people who are genuinely happy when a good outcome is made .

I can at least breathe a little longer then and hopefully get a car my scooter can fit in :) give me and my family abit of freedom .

Well done. But it is true that any-one awarded indefinately will be reassessed in the future for PIP. I have received a letter stating that I will be assessed between 2015 and 2018. But well done in getting what you are entitled to .

i am very happy for you
