does anyone know how i can find out the nurses credentials who assessed my esa50 form?
That's an interesting question! I wonder how many people have even thought of checking up on this?
I have no idea how you would find out, but I think we have a perfect right to know, and that we should all ask, so that we can be sure that the person is appropriately qualified.
I bet that if everyone queried this, there would be a lot of ruffled feathers at ATOS!
I will see what I can find out!

Have a look at the blog spidey put on - there are several (whoops can't think of word but mean bits you can click on) go on the bottom one which is a man telling about his fight to get ESA and he explains how to find out about what you asked.
i cant find it whats it under lynne?

you may have to scroll down quite a bit to find the right bit but its worth it
I also have thought of trying this to see who the people are that are on the tribunal panel! Misfits me thinks in some cases as theres supposed to be a person who knows about disability but it makes you wonder! We should have the right to know who is sitting there making judgement on us! x
thanks guys thats another good question regarding tribunal panels, has anyone asked if the doctor on the panel know about fibro when theyve went for an appeal?

If you go onto the register of nurses/midwives you an type in the nurses name:
Hi , when I went for my assesment I asked the assesor if she had any knowledge of fm and she said yes Im a nurse , but I used to be a nurse and had never heard of it as is the case
with quite a few nurses I know and others have heard of it but dont fully know what it entails ,
You can search the NMC register but the problem I've had is that there are five nurses with similar names. I think I know which one I did see but I've had to email Atos today to ask for her full name and registration 'pin' number as the NMC couldn't identify which nurse it was by name alone.
When I went for my assessment I asked the assessor her qualifications. She told me she was a physio and I thought oh good, she'll know all about fibro. How wrong was I! When I got home I went online, typed her name into google and found out she was working for a private local healthcare company as a physio specialising in sports injuries. When I sent for my report I realised from what she had written that she knew absolutely nothing as she kept referring to my joints not my muscles. I wrote out 6 pages of lies and discrepancies in her report to send in with my appeal. It's about time we had assessors who have the right knowledge of the conditions that we have.
I hate to say this but ......do they actually look at the esa50, and if they do you can probably
guarantee it will be by a person at dpw , that is for definite before it even goes to atos.
Sorry you will excuse me , dpw said they would not accept my sick note , then when i appealed they conveniently said i had no further evidence , and put my sick note onto the system nine days later , which was march the 30th , they recieved it together otherwise what was the point ! Dpw were diabolical over the phone their attitude stank !
I now have to go through a tribunal as im not entitled to help with it from that date.
the treatment we are receiving from dwp and atos is disgusting the way they are judging us, they have no idea of the difficulties and problems we suffer with having fibro, and basically dont give a dam, why do they not have specialists who know about fibro assess us instead of healthcare workers who are not qualified to do so, atos claim there healthcare workers that see clients are qualified for that persons ailments or conditions RUBBISH who are these people super nurses and doctors who know every ailment and conditions and claim they are qualified haha twice i have been assessed by 2 different nurses only using the esa50 and not needing to examine me???? all they do is keep putting the length of time i may return to work farther and farther back its 18 months now would mind if i got money off them but money ran out a year ago, im appealing again 1st time i lost tribunal to be put in support group due to not being prepared, this time im gona be very prepared in dwp statement to the tribunal and their reasons for me to be kept in wrag they have made a few mistakes that i can argue and hopefully blow them out of the water, got evidence to support me to, bring it on,
