So I started my meds for a frozen cycle on the 29th October should have been ready for transfer tomorrow however my body didn’t play ball with the meds and my lining just didn’t get thick enough, it was 5.6mm on Wednesday last week and was told to carry on with meds and hope it thickens by today, they have done the scan again today and it’s still only 5.6mm but I have a triple line so they’re going to do transfer but have told me this is a very thin lining and it’s only 19% chance of implanting. Has anyone had a success story from a thin lining? I’m not sure whether to stress or not, probably best not too but much easier said than done, the transfer is next Monday 🙈

FET - thin lining 🤦🏼♀️
Hello,
I haven't had a success story with a thin lining but I do know a lot about thin linings!
Is this your first FET? Have you had trouble with your lining in the past? If not it may be that this was just a bad month and it's worth holding off for another month and trying again.
Have you tried drinking raspberry leaf tea? It's really made a huge difference for some women with a thin lining.
I think it's worth trying to see if you can get the lining thicker because I know lots of women have had a transfer with less than 6.5mm (myself included) and regretted it. I know it's so hard to wait another month because you've put so much time and effort in to get this aft but another month might make all the difference :).
Wishing you lots of luck xxx
Hey, like Pebbles I don’t have success with lining that thin but I have had issues with my lining and had 3 FETs cancelled as a result. I’ve tried all kinds of protocols but my lining didn’t respond and they presume I’m intolerant to artificial estrogen. As Pebbles said a key question is whether you’ve had issues before? Could this be a one off?
Raspberry leaf (tea and supplements), pomegranate juice, beetroot juice, vitamin E and l’arginine (sp?) are all great as is acupuncture & walking. None of them worked for me on my medicated cycles. However, I have regular cycles so on my most recent I did a natural FET and my lining was 7.4mm by CD10 so they triggered me (I ovulate early) and they transferred 7 days later. I got a BFP and will be 12 weeks on Saturday.
I’d always doubted my body and thought I needed the medication but it turns out I should have trusted it all along! It’s definitely worth looking at a natural cycle and, if I was you, I’d be tempted to try again next month to give your embryo the best chance possible.
Wishing you lots of luck xx
I have such irregular cycles that we can’t go on my natural cycles unfortunately I can have 2 week cycles of 12 weeks and I never know what to expect! But thank you hunny and congratulations 🎉🌈💖
I had a transfer today but it was nearly cancelled as my lining was 6 or 7 ish. (Despite being 9.1 the previous week!!) She said it still looked healthy and triple layered and there was no disruption visible. She said it wasn't the best but could still be ok and left it up to me to decide!!!! I thought if it definitely wouldn't work she wouldn't do it, so went ahead!
Have you had yours???
