Hello! I am just looking for some words of reassurance/ positivity before my next FET. After a year of additional tests, antibiotics and canceled transfers we are finally attempting our transfer number 4. I would love to hear some positive stories from anyone who transferred a Day 6 4BB embryos? I just keep thinking that the grading plus the slow development are not the best forecast for success and it's stressing me out. I am taking steroids in preparation for it and they are not helping the general anxiety; I know the feeling from the last three rounds and it feels like riding an overthinking dragon. Additionally I have to be away from my hubby until the transfer (next Tuesday) which is not helping at all. Any wisdom would be appreciated!

Hi lovely just wanted to wish you loads of luck for your treatment I have seen women have success with worse grades then that the fact it made it is a good thing it does not matter if it was slower to get to day 6 it’s still going for it so meant to be it’s good your on steroids I do think they make the difference make sure you got your warm socks ready your Pom juice beetroot juice and Brazil nuts and walnuts in
I’m a over thinker so when I just read the riding the overthinking dragon just made me belly laugh because you just described me my treatments not till march and Im over thinking already

good luck 🤗 your wee embryo is made, waiting for you and is a great grade (my son was a 4BC and current pregnancy a 4AB) so has every chance of success ! Sounds like you’ve did lots of prep already so time to relax and enjoy the ride as the hard part is over lovely! Treat yourself this week as best you can and enjoy the peace and quiet xx
How lovely! Thank you so much for sharing this, it definitely helps to gain perspective. Massive congratulations on your BFP! After a couple of unsuccessful transfers I think the mind tends to wonder, so it is always reassuring to hear other people come out the other end winners
Hi! Im going in for my 4th transfer this month too.
Forget embryo grading, all grades can stick! Mine have been good, average and poor and im still on the journey.
I miscarried on a good embryo so there’s no guarantee. Ive read a lot of forums where “lower graded” embryos stick and result in healthy babies.
have a positive mindset and do some manifestation. Why not try writing a little note to your dream future. Im trying everything and positive mindset is my most powerful tool atm.
I’m taking enjoyment out of going to Tescos even and buying lots of healthy food as I know its going to help the transfer this month with my lining, and providing a good baseline health for him/her.
Wishing you all the best ❤️ it will work for us.

I am loving the manifestation suggestion and the note writing! I think I will do that this evening. Thanks so much for the kind words, after I read your post I am actually getting exited about the transfer which is great. Thank you soooo much and best of luck with your own journey!
all the best to you. Jan will be our month ❤️✨
Hi how are you getting on? Sorry just jumped on here. I'm going through my 2nd FET, third transfer as both previous fresh/fet failed. This time I am also on steroids. How long are you on yours for? I just tool my first tablet of 5mg today and omg my stress is in over drive. I don't know why but I just keep freaking about side effects and what ifs 😔. This is such a hard journey. I love everyone's advice and good thoughts. Thus is why these forums make sucha huge difference during the journey.
Hello! I feel for you; I have also been freaking out about side effects too! It's really hard to interpret it if you're not a medic professional so I always feel a bit lost with trying to work out 'what is the best' ... My doctor reassured me that at those small doses they won't have negative effect (I'm on 10mg so twice as much as you). I've ended up taking them for over two months at this point as I was prepping for what turned out to be three consecutive cancelled FETs, so by the time I would have wound off them I would have to resume. I got really fixated on the increased osteoporosis risk, so I tested my calcium level ans they indeed have dropped below the norm, so have been supplementing it. Retested after a month and they bounced back, so that put my mind at ease a little bit. All the posts I have received from the wonderful group definitely helped. Also, I have now been taking progesterone in preparation for my FET and I must say the progesterone always takes the edge off! We just need to wait it out, I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end. Sending you hugs and baby dust in the meantime ✨
I am to increase to 10mg in a few days. My brain just spiralled this morning. But that's good tip then I will make sure I take my vitamin d as I am terrible at keep up with them. Have you been okay otherwise? Sleep and weight etc? Praying we both get our positives with minimal side effects x
Ah yes, I checked vid D too and it wasn't the best, as I am also a hit and miss taking it, thanks for a reminder! Every time I was on it (this is a third time now) my weight and appetite were totally fine. One other thing; it is meant to be taken in the morning with food. I've made a mistake of once taking it later on an empty stomach..... Not only I had a terrible belly ache, I was sooo wound up at all day and night. My sleep has been pretty terrible at the tim of writing the original post, but since adding progesterone I've been sleeping great... The thing is years ago I was on a much higher dose (I think 40mg) for Bells palsy for two weeks and had literally zero side effects.....I think it's such a stressful time right now, given the context of desperately trying to make a baby it just tips us over the edge. Side note; when I was reading about Prednisone turns out this is also the steroid people take to make quick muscle gains. As I already (sometimes) do weight training I went to the gym a bit more and I think that helped a little bit to get that 'stress' energy out and I tend to be happier after I worked out. Hope this helps!
Oh okay I took the first one today on empty stomach. Oops. Thank you for that il keep that in mind. Oh okay. I got covid and haven't been well so I haven't been to the gym for around 2/3 months now but irs good to know when I feel better that there is an outlet and possible gains to be made hehe 💪
Bless you, I hope your Covid recovery will be speedy and full! best of luck to bot of us 💪
