Looking for some reassurance...

I had a frozen transfer on Wednesday just gone and have been on a packed schedule of Progesterone and Estrogen since. This morning I messed up and used a progesterone pessary at 6am (correct timing) and then again at 9am (incorrect timing, this is when I usually take 2 x Progynova tablets but I was on autopilot and just didn't think!).

I've called the clinic and they've advised me on my pessary schedule for the rest of the day. But I am wondering whether anyone else has done something similar? Surely, it can't hurt too much? I'll now be taking another pessary at 5pm and my Lubion injection as usual at 10pm.

Feel like such a numpty! I've now labelled all of my alarms so it doesn't happen again.

If your clinic aren't worried, then you probably shouldn't be. It's all about keeping the levels in your blood, so I think there's more flex that when doing stims. Good luck x

Thank you! They didn't seem alarmed so hopefully it's ok. xx

You're welcome - my clinic gave me a schedule and I actually physically tick off the drugs when I've taken them - I'm on 4 types of progesterone plus oestrogen and a blood thinner so it's the only way I can keep track!

That's a good idea! I am usually so organised and on top of things but today, I just did not stop to think. 🤦‍♀️

Hi Rose. My thoughts are that I can't see one extra progesterone messing everything up and contimue as you have been insdtructed the rest of the day. Your body only uses what it needs anyway, so it's up to you. Hope all ends well for you. Diane

Hello, you will be fine. Your body needs to the progesterone anyway. Trust me I think I took extra progesterone a time or two and still had two healthy pregnancies. I only took the progesterone shots though.

Don’t worry. Your body still needs the progesterone. So you will be fine.

It is quite confusing with all the medication and the timings. Great idea naming the alarms with the medicines. All crossed for a positive result soon. 🤞❤️🤗🍀

Thanks everyone! Now I’m back in the swing of my correct medicine at the correct times today, I’m feeling a lot more at ease 😂 just can’t get enough of those pessaries! xx
