Combined treatment of prednisone and hydroxychloroquine anyone ?

did this work? Any side effects or guidance.? I have high thyroid antibodies that might be why this is being proposed.

I was prescribed hydroxychloroquine when I started titrating prednisone to treat PMR. I developed a measles like rash which cleared up upon discontinuation of the hydroxychloroquine. I will be evaluated soon to see if there is anything else we should try.

I have been on this combination, not successful yet unfortunately.

First week of taking hydroxy I felt nauseous , but fine after that. Been on it over a year now. Steroids, depending on dose , can cause insomnia / sleep disturbance .

Thank you, I started this protocol and also has the nausea at the beginning too !
