Brand new to all this and just trying to wrap my head around what’s going on after a clinic visit today - can anyone help?
I’m on day 5 of my cycle, day three of 225iu FSH (Meriofert). I had a scan today and they said around half of my follicles had responded well but the other half not so much. I was due to start taking Antagonist (Fyremadel) on day 6 but after blood tests the doctor said to increase my FSH to 300iu for the next 3 days and start taking Antagonist from day 8.
Should I be worried about the change in timeline? Does it mean that it’s not working? My mind goes blank every time I’m in the clinic and I only think of all the questions once I’ve left! Thank you

As far as I know (from the 6 times I’ve been on this protocol) the fyremadel is to stop ovulation so they must think you aren’t near that yet and want to give you a few more days without suppressing that and at the same time upping your stims to try and get the other ones to respond better. Its really common they tweak things between day 5-7 as everyone responds differently so it sounds like they are just tailoring the protocol to you and it could make all the difference 🤗 good luck xx
