Canesflor and Aspirin Q’s on Modified Natural FET

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.

I am starting Modified Natural FET next month.

I’m currently taking Proceive, extra Vitamin D (2000 IU), Vitamin E (400g), Optibac and using Balance Activ gel for vaginal environment maintenance. (Day 6 of the course).

Also eating fermented foods.

It’s gonna be my first Modified Natural FET so I have questions.

I bought Gyno-Canesflor on eBay which is the Italian version of Canesflor that has been posted on this forum, but it says capsules, not pessaries. My image was bullet shape pessaries. (I took a photo of a box)

Can I use it in the same way as bullet shape pessaries? Do they melt properly in the vagina?

When did you start using Canesflor? And how long did you use it? Can I use it on the same day as progesterone pessaries? (Cyclogest)

When did you start using aspirin? How long and what dose did you use? What brand do you recommend? Did you ask the clinic if you could use aspirin?

Sorry for asking so many questions.

Bit overwhelmed with start of a treatment.

Would appreciate your feedback.

Thank you.

Hi. Do you need all these medications. Best to check with your clinic. Nornally Candstan wouldn’t inter free with treatment. Good luck. Diane

Thank you for your reply.

I will get advice from the clinic on whether it's better or not for me to use those medicines, especially aspirin.

Good to know Canesflor does not interfere with treatment.

Hi! Very best of luck with your FET! I used Caneslfor for 10 days straight in the run up to my transfer. My clinic said you can use it with the progesterone pessaries. I think I used it an hour or so after the progesterone. Also used baby aspirin. Did discuss with my clinic, they said it wouldn't hurt. Don't remember on the top of my head when I started it but it was close in time to the FET. Word of warning about the baby aspirin - it does increase your risk of developing a subchorionic haematoma in case of a successful pregnancy. I got one, which manifested as a large and painful bleed at week 5 and threatened miscarriage until week 12. Was told to stop the baby aspirin immediately and luckily it resolved itself by the 12 week scan. Very best of luck!

Thank you for your reply.

Good to know Canesflor can be used with the progesterone pessaries!

As for the aspirin, did you start using it before transfer or after? Thank you for pointing out the risk of taking aspirin and sharing your experience. I'm very glad to hear that your issue resolved itself!

You are welcome :) I started taking the aspirin just before the transfer, if I remember correctly...pretty close to the day of transfer.

I used canesflor for 10 days straight right up to transfer. I think some thrush treatments are capsules for vaginal use too so if it says so just use as directed.

My clinic also says I could use baby aspirin so I did then stopped at positive test for reasons Eloquentia said. Midwife then put me back on it at 12 weeks.

Thank you for your reply.

I didn't know there are capsule pessaries. I will use them as directed on the instructions then. Thanks!

I understand why it could be better to stop using aspirin after a positive test now, thank you.

Did you start using aspirin on the day of transfer then stop on the testing day?

I didn't know that aspirin can be used long term. Thank you again!

Yes the 75mg often called baby aspirin.

Yes. You can put them in and use it with balance activ. That way it will melt more easily. I use balance activ with canesflor or lactovaginal. You can use them on their own but they take a while to dissolve.

Canesflor is also safe to use on its own after transfer as is flora femme and Vagibiom.

Thank you for your reply.

Sounds like a good idea to use Canesflor with balance activ since that gel works well for me.

Also Good to know Canesflor can be used even after transfer.

You can use balance activ up until transfer. Then wait until 10 days after transfer to use canesflor with balance activ again. You can then use them both simultaneously. I would avoid on day of transfer.

I will try that method. Thanks again!
