Hi, I'm going for a modified natural FET and not sure of the process.
I had a scan on day 10 of my cycle. The consultant said the lining looked good and there was a nice dominant folicle, then said to do ovulation tests for 2 days and let them know if positive.
They said if not positive (it wasn't), no need to call, just take a trigger shot, then start progesterone pessaries 2 days later. They've booked me in for the FET this Tuesday (day 20 of cycle, 1 week after trigger), but I haven't had any scans or blood tests or anything since then. Is this normal? How will they know everything is OK and ready for FET?

I'm also doing a natural (modified) FET and I've been booked in for FET this coming Saturday. My clinic is abroad, but the process seems to be exactly the same.
They checked my progesterone level on the day they decided on the transfer day after seeing a good size dominant follicle and nice thick(-ening) endometrial lining.
Trigger yesterday evening and starting progesterone pessaries tomorrow.
From what I've been told, the follicle size isn't important. The only other thing that would matter is the endometrial thickness but they will hopefully check on the transfer day?
I’ve just had a natural modified FET on Thursday and my clinic said the most important thing is the womb lining. It has to be at least 8mm ideally and triple layered. I needed three scans before I got to this point and also did the at home ovulation tests (always negative). As they are giving you a trigger injection, they know exactly when you’ll ovulate and can do the transfer exactly a week later. My clinic also did a blood test for progesterone on transfer day to gauge if I need to increase pessaries or add in a progesterone injection. Wishing you the best of luck!
Thank you! They went ahead with the transfer on Tuesday so I assume they were happy with everything. They didn't do a progesterone test, but I guess that's not standard everywhere. OTD is Saturday so we'll see then!
Good luck to you too! 🤞🤞 Hope the TWW flies by and you get your BFP!
