I’ve just tested today after my 3rd FET using my embryos created from my younger sister’s donor eggs. Another negative & failed implantation. This time my lining wasn’t thick enough at my first scan (is usually fine) so they put me on progesterone tablets x 3 times a day as well as pessaries twice a day. I was on the highest steroids, blood thinner injections, hydroxychloroquine sulphate before transfer & doubled after, doxycycline for 10 days before transfer, 2 x trips to a clinic in Sutton Coldfield for Intralipid infusions, reflexology & acupuncture sessions. I tried to eat as healthy as possible (high antioxidants, low mercury & no processed foods). Had lots of sleep & tried not to get stressed as I started back at school as a teacher after my transfer on 29th August.
All my waiting, time, effort, money & not going away on a holiday seems a complete waste of time.
Hiding away in my bed today before being Maid of Honour for the same little sister this Friday. I’m not telling her my bad news until after the wedding. I don’t want to take anything away from her special day.
I’ve got 3 more blastocysts left & will try again after I’ve had my follow up with the Recurrent Miscarriage consultant. Really worried I’m running out of time & chances. I’m 43 & have been trying to get & stay pregnant since I was 39. 💔😢

Ask your clinic about prp treatment. Your protocol echoes mine and it was the missing link for my successful transfer. My lining went from 6.6 to over 10, I had never made it over 7 in any scan. Did they have you on low dose aspirin?
I will do thank you. I’ve never had any issues with my lining before this transfer - it was not far off at 6.5 but they left me another week for it to thicken more. Aspirin was mentioned but only from a positive pregnancy.
Hey x it’s just the worst feeling. All the effort you have put in to just to get a broken heart 💔 I’ve been through it many times.
My last transfer with my last embryo I tried specialised probiotics for women as I read somewhere the implantation rates were much higher with higher levels of these bacteria in the womb
It worked and not sure if it’s what did it but could be worth a try for your next one xx
Thank you for that. I know everyone says that but I’ve gone from 26 eggs that we collected from my sister to 17 embryos created. After thawing & 3 transfers I’m now down to 3 blastocysts left. It’s worrying & scary 😬
Hi, I’m also 43 and currently pregnant following my 5th transfer. I thought it would never happen for me. I had 4 failed transfers. 2 from my own eggs and 2. From donor eggs. I only had 1 embryo left from my donor eggs so I did the EMA, Alice and ERA tests. The findings were that I needed an extra 30 hours of progesterone and lots of probiotics before transfer. I was sceptical but it worked! 27 weeks and all going well so far. I would recommend those tests as it was what finally worked for me after a long journey. Good luck x
Thank you so much. I will mention this to my consultant. Please can I ask if these tests were done on the NHS or privately? Where did you have them & how much did they cost? Congratulations to you! I hope everything continues to go well for you x
I'm so sorry, I just want to let you know I feel your pain so deeply. I just got a BFN this morning and can't bring myself to get out of bed, I completely understand how you are feeling. You are a great sister, and lucky to have her support ❤️ We can pick ourselves up and try again... wishing you all the luck in the world ✨️🙏
