I have been TTC for 5 years now. I have had two rounds of IVF and 7 transfers. I had one successful transfer but then miscarried after 6 weeks.
I had a hysteroscopy last week and they found I had Chronic endometritis, which I am now being treated for with antibiotics.
Has anyone had any experience of this? Am I finally fertile once I have taken the antibiotics for two weeks? I only have one embryo left, so this is my last chance.

I got diagnosed with chronic endometritis after egg collection when they were doing investigations in preparation for frozen transfer, as they saw some micropolyps during the stimms scans. Same, they scheduled a hysteroscopy and after the results came back, I did the 2 weeks course of antibiotics and a follow up biopsy with endometrial scratch, and the transfer two months later worked - I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant. I was seen by two consultants at the time, and it seems CE is very common in people TTC, but it's not widely scanned for. One said that some people manage to conceive despite the CE although I suppose it depends on how bad it is your case etc.
Ask your consultant for some guidance on next steps, ours recommended to do the transfer in the three months following the treatment to maximise chances.
Congratulations , its lovely to hear some positive stories. Thank you for telling your story, thats interesting. I nearly at the end of my 2 weeks of antibiotics, hoping to have a follow up appointment soon.
