OHSS after egg collection, had to wait till July/Aug for FET . Stressed up!

Hi , cut the story short. It's our third cycle of ICSI. I knew something was not quite right this round of ICSI as very bloated and very tired. I had been going in clinic every day since Day 10 of stimulation injection for blood tests and ultrasounds . 20 eggs were collected but only two made to fair quality blastocysts. I was totally devastated when I was told I had OHSS and will not be getting fresh embryo transfer .

After initially having no communication from the clinic for a week , I queried about what do I do next. Then a doctor called me back to explain that I will have to wait till the next bleeding after this withdrawal bleed . We waited since last October for this round of ICSI but as they were closed on Christmas period for a week we could not start in October . Then I got pregnant naturally in December and lost it within 3 weeks. It such seems times is running out and nothing is going as planned.

The doctor wants me to inject Lubion starts from embryos transfer till 12 weeks pregnant if things go well. I only had Cyclogest 400mg three times a day for the last two ICSI and Lubion following FET is kinda new protocol for them too. She explained there is not much increase in livebirth without using it. I know we already spent so much money on ICSI anyway so another £1k not seems a lot but Im just not sure I can do the injection anymore .

I read about it being so painful for others too. So I can't decide what to do .....

lubion injection isn’t too bad I have had it quite a few times just helps some ladies who dont absorb the pessaries as much as needed 🤗 I hope the OHSS wasn’t too bad and that’s the same amount of time our clinic have toj wait between things just to get your body back into a natural rhythm and be recovered xx
