Hi unfortunately my fresh icsi cycle failed . I have been bleeding really heavy for 3 days since I came off the progesterone and the lubion . Sorry for being graphic just wondered if this was normal . I had started to spot brown blood on Friday after the negative test which by Sunday was a heavy bleed once I stopped taking meds .

Heavy bleed after failed cycle
This happened to me so I would say this is normal x
I’m sorry to hear about your failed cycle. It can be normal sadly. My first failed fresh transfer was hideously heavy if I remember. To the point where I called the clinic about it.
Call your clinic if you're worried just for some reassurance. I was surprised how heavy my bleed was after failed fresh icsi and I hadn't even stopped progesterone by then. I would assume the time the lining had been developing and all the extra hormones made it thicker. The 2nd day of bleed I couldn't stand up for long without soaking a pad but it only lasted 2 or 3 days.
Yep, same here. In fact I had a deferred transfer after ICSI (so no embryo transferred) but the bleed was still horrendous after all the meds.
Same here! I recently got a BFN and my period is here with a vengeance. Everyone else has already given some good advice but just wanted to chip in with solidarity!
I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. My bleed started about 24 hours after my last pessary and lasted a full 7 days. I suffer with periods anyway, but that one was horrific. I was so thankful when it stopped! It's just another thing to deal with on top of the upset of it all. I hope yours passes soon and lots of luck if you go again xx
I am in the same position but started bleeding before stopping Cyclogest because I don't think the progesterone levels were high enough. I have endometriosis so I think that I need a lot of progesterone. It was our first ICSI cycle. Am going to ask for Lubion too for next cycle I think. The bleeding is currently longer and heavier than a normal cycle but I'm guessing it's the body readjusting after all of the meds.
