Hey everyone I started spotting last Wednesday which was 11dpt3dt. Few days later started to bleed since stopping progesterone on Monday being having really heavy periods never had anything like it! Is it even a period of withdrawal bleeding? Is this normal? Bit scary seeing so much blood and clots. Also Would I ovulate this month?

Thanks so much ladies been such a huge support during this terrible time xxx

Sorry to hear that your transfer failed. Yes, that sounds normal. My period was heavier too. The drugs give us nice thick linings which is discarded when unsuccessful & causes more bleeding than normal. Mine were always more painful too. It's not really a normal period, it's called a withdrawal bleed. Your cycles will return to normal and you should ovulate but your cycle may not be the usual 28 days (or whatever is normal for you), so ovulation may also be later. I had some where my next bleed was 43ish days. Hugs.xx

Ah I’m so sorry BECIO, I’ve found that’s totally normal unfortunately - my first chemical pregnancy I had heavy bleeding, clots and bled for over 2 weeks. It’s so horrible and draining when you’re feeling so low anyway. Just sending lots of hugs and strength xxx

Take time to heal (mentally and physically) and take extra care of yourself for a while now, eat lots of delicious food and sleep lots and you’ll be back to full strength soon. Big love for the journey xx

Hi, yes unfortunately as if a BFN isn’t enough to be dealing with we then get these horrid extra-heavy bleeds. I just had a failed cycle and have come off my medicines so waiting for mine to start too, my clinic said to expect it to be heavier and probably last longer than a normal period. Xx
